Overview: The Custom Fist Sales & Packaging Associate is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Custom Fish Customer Service, checking in fish and processing orders, packaging products with customer orders and servicing customer sales transactions.  Additional administrative duties, data entry and clerical support are an integral part of this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•         Represents Trapper’s Creek as company first contact for the Custom Fish desk specializing in customer service, processing orders and monetary transactions.  

•         Checks in customer fish, prepares, packages and boxes orders, maintains a small retail area including; cleaning areas, stocking, and organizing merchandise.

•         Processes orders in person and over the phone

•         Creates and administers invoices, maintains tracking records on spreadsheets

•         Detailed thinking and follow through, checking for data accuracy in orders and invoices

•         Clerical/Admin support to update sales and customer records and other data entry support as requested

•         Some driving and warehouse assistance when needed

•         Provides assistance as needed to all areas of plant administration

Skills Required:

•         Excellent communication and customer service skills with clients, peers and management to successfully problem solve and be responsive to changing needs in a fast-paced environment

•         Solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

•         Experience with monetary transactions, working cash registers and credit card machines

•         Strong ability to take direction and take initiative to follow through on projects

•         This is a fast-paced position that includes physical labor. Must be physically strong; able to stand on your feet all day and need to be able to lift up to 45 pounds

•         Computer skills proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

•         Good driving record, current and valid driver’s license

•         German, Italian or French language skills preferred but not required

Education:

Minimum required High School Diploma/or GED equivalent minimum; some college or higher technical learning preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or retail, food service, manufacturing or production, and experience processing monetary transactions

Full-time seasonal (may be extended after 3-month probationary period through 3rd party employer required)
