Overview: The Admin & Sales Associate is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Trapper’s Creek retail store, online and in-person sales, processing orders and servicing customers. Additional administrative duties, data entry and clerical support are an integral part of this position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Represents Trapper’s Creek as company first contact at front desk, over phone, and email
• Administers and maintains a small retail store including cleaning areas, stocking, organizing merchandise and processing monetary transactions
• Processes orders in person, via web, email and over the phone
• Processes weekly/monthly till reconciliations for the store, creates and administers invoices and purchase orders, maintains tracking records on spreadsheets
• Detailed thinking and follow through, checking for data accuracy in orders and invoices
• Clerical/Admin support to update sales and customer records and other data entry support as requested
• Provides assistance as needed to all areas of business administration
Skills Required:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with clients, peers and management to successfully problem solve and be responsive to changing needs in a fast-paced environment
• Solid verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with monetary transactions, working cash registers and credit card machines
• Strong ability to take direction and take initiative to follow through on projects
• Computer skills proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Company-wide expectations:
Education:
Minimum required High School Diploma/or GED equivalent minimum; some college or higher technical learning preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or retail, food service, manufacturing or production, and experience processing monetary transactions
Additional onboarding information:
3-month probationary period through 3rd party employer required
Medical Insurance available after probationary period as company employee
Vacation after a year
Salary $15 to start
