The Birch Center is currently looking for a Part Time Visitation Monitor. The responsibilities of this position include: facilitating a safe, positive, and comfortable atmosphere for children to visit with their non-custodial parent while providing active monitoring of visits to ensure the safety of the victim and their children. The candidate will also provide monitoring services for supervised exchanges and will engage in and role model direct conflict resolution and mediation while presenting a professional demeanor to the community through appearance, communication and presentation.

Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in Child Development, Human Services, or closely related field. Job, school or life experience may be used in lieu of the degree. Excellent interpersonal, group and written communication skills. Prior demonstrated ability of working with people of diverse background, culture and lifestyles. Ability to maintain boundaries. Proficient with computers and an ability to do data entry. Ability to pass background check.
