JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the team, support the CFO and accounting / finance team in developing direction and oversight over all financial reporting and disbursement functions for the entire system. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Keep sensitive and proprietary information confidential is a must. Understand the importance of confidentiality and able to protect sensitive and proprietary information.

·         Responsible for all aspects of Payroll.  Processing of multi-state employee including auditing and processing incoming payroll data as well as assisting departments with applicable forms and processes.  Monthly employee’s Benefit Reconciliations.

·         Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records

·         Responsible for preparing, processing, and administering invoices for multiple subsidiaries. Accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.   Year End 1099 preparation.

·         Review vendor statements, invoices, investigate and resolve discrepancies.

·         Coordinate with team during month-end close to ensure completion on a timely manner

·         Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, including general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.

·         Prepare all Quarterly & Annual Census Surveys

·         Perform bank account and credit card reconciliations.

·         Responsible for all accounting functions to the Shareholder Department.

·         Assists in other related areas as requested.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

·         Must be proficient in Word and Excel.

·         Ability to meet deadlines; maintain attention to detail and Accuracy.

·         Professional intrapersonal and interpersonal skills.

·         Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

·         Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.

·         Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

·         Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·         Associate degree in Accounting OR any combination of experience, education and training.

·         Three (3) years of progressive accounting experience.
