Under the direction of the Tribal Council, oversee all financial and accounting matters for the Tribal Government, Tribal Enterprises and varied Tribal Investments, including investments or ownership in business ventures.  Prepare and/or review financial reports, including audited financial reports.  Oversee risk management and 401(k) plan for the Tribe and all business ventures.  Review and evaluate current and potential business investments.  Prepare and review Tribal and Enterprise budgets. Establish and implement policies and procedures.

Certified Public Accountant with five years’ experience as a Chief Financial Officer or equivalent.  Governmental and/or business experience required; Tribal experience preferred.  Knowledge of GAAP in both a FASB and GASB setting required.

Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, preferably Accounting required; MBA preferred.
