Careline is currently looking for Full Time and Part Time Crisis Intervention Specialists. In this position you will have the ability to implement policies, protocols and services designed to assist individuals who are thinking of or planning to commit suicide, are impacted by someone with suicidal behavior, or who are experiencing crisis that without assistance, may turn into suicidal behavior. Services are provided via phone call or text messaging. The Crisis Intervention Specialist will maintain client confidentiality except in cases where client needs must be communicated to appropriate staff and emergency personnel, provide support, information and referral for non-crisis calls, maintain accurate records of lethality assessments and client information, and other duties as assigned by the Careline Coordinator. 

Minimum qualifications: Associates Degree in Social Work or a closely related field, prior work or life experience may be used in lieu of the degree.  Excellent interpersonal, group, and written communication skills. Commitment to agency's mission and goals. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles. Ability to work independently. Ability to pass background check. Proficient with computers and ability to do data entry. Ability to work weekends.
