Year Round Groundskeeper / Snow Removal (Full Time - Great Benefits! )

NeighborWorks Alaska is looking for a full-time Groundskeeper to join our landscape and Grounds Operations maintenance department. This is a year-round position that offers paid vacation time, paid holidays, and paid sick leave plus a great medical benefits package and a 401K savings plan with company match. Working hours are 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with some overtime or extra hours on weekends required for snow removal in winter. Our crew stays busy all year round caring for more than 10 large housing properties within Anchorage. Summer primary duties include lawn care, landscaping and some light construction such as fence repair. In winter this position is responsible for snow removal from sidewalks and parking lots. If you like working outside and are hardworking, easy to get along with, dependable, and honest then you may be a good fit for our team. Good positive attitude is of high importance. Job training will be provided for a candidate that will fit in well with our fun and hardworking crew. To be considered you must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle per company insurance guidelines, be able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and a criminal background check. Hourly pay rate depends on experience and/or transferable skills that may be valuable/applied to this Groundskeeping position.
