Clare Swan Early Learning Center (CSELC), a subsidiary of Cook Inlet Tribal Council, is recruiting now for full-time and part-time Teacher positions. CSELC is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and looking to fill shifts during those times. The positon is flexibly staffed as a Teacher in Training/Teacher I/Teacher II, and starting level will be determined based on qualifications and experience upon hire.
Position Details
Teachers are responsible for providing quality education to infants and toddlers, with the goal of increasing social competence, school readiness, and knowledge and pride in traditional Alaska Native culture and heritage. Teachers assist in the development and implementation of plans to enhance the education, health, social and education growth in children and families served.

About Clare Swan Early Learning Center
The Clare Swan Early Learning Center provides for the needs of working families beyond simple child care. Over 30 staff members come together to implement the research-based Early Head Start curriculum that emphasizes the importance of responsive and caring relationships to support the optimal development of infants and toddlers. Clare Swan Early Learning Center also provides child development information and performs periodic assessments to track your child’s development through their stages of growth. Our center encourages families to participate in their child’s education as well as supporting our families’ goals. Clare Swan Early Learning Center serves Alaska Native and American Indian children ages 6 weeks to 36 months (3 years) of age. Classrooms feature a one-to-four teacher-children ratio for quality, focused learning.

Shifts will be a consistent 8.5 hours anytime between 7a.m. and 6p.m. Staff will receive a half hour lunch break during their shift.
