Who We Are Seeking: We are seeking a compassionate, dependable professional who is committed to supporting individuals on their recovery journey. The ideal candidate believes in accountability through encouragement, values collaboration with treatment providers and community partners, and is dedicated to helping participants build resilience, maintain sobriety, and successfully reintegrate into their families, culture, and community. This role is perfect for someone who can balance structured supervision with empathy while advancing our mission of helping our citizens and community thrive.
Additional Responsibilities: Collaborate with Tribal Court, treatment providers, Elders, and community partners to support participant success through restorative justice and reentry planning. Maintain accurate case documentation and court reports, participate in ongoing professional development, contribute to program improvement, and uphold organizational standards while advancing culturally grounded healing, accountability, and community wellness.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
Certificates and Licenses: A valid Alaska Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position.
Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Background Check: This position requires you to complete and pass a pre-employment state and federal background check and drug screening as a condition of employment. This position is subject to random drug testing.
Hiring Preferences: As allowed in P.L. 93-638, preference for employment will be given to Alaska Native and American Indian peoples. CVTC also applies family and local hiring preferences.
