This role is responsible for voter outreach and engagement, volunteer recruitment and relationship building, planning and supporting community events, and driving Alaskans to take action on voting rights issues. • Recruit volunteers to conduct direct voter contact, testify at legislative hearings, help with events, and complete other roles necessary to do our advocacy work.
  • Empower and train volunteers to become leaders in our campaigns to help shape and inform campaign goals, tactics, and strategies and ensure that the interests and vision of community members help shape our civic engagement work.
  • Conduct Get Out The Vote efforts that include talking to voters over the phone, at their front doors, and at events to encourage them to vote in state and local elections.
  • Create engaging voter education and turnout content for social media and email.
  • Assist in GOTV efforts in other regions and across programs, including supporting our utility election work.

Required Skills and Qualifications
