We are searching for an experienced Residential Sales Supervisor at our Sun Mountain facility. 

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION'S ROLE

The Sales & Customer Service Supervisor supports and meets the departmental mission statement.  The role of the Sales & Customer Service Supervisor consists of five main areas in order of priority:  1) Achievement of Sales Goals; 2) Superior Customer Service; 3) Departmental Management; 4) Teamwork Coordination with Other Departments; and 5) Professional Growth for Self and Staff. 

  • Achievement of Sales Goals
  • Provides and conducts sales training
  • Motivates the staff to meet sales goals
  • Promotes new sales campaigns throughout the department
  • Coaches each SC on an individual basis to attain sales goals
  • Observes and monitors customer meetings and calls
  • Meets regularly with each SC to discuss sales performance
  • Promotes positive attitude
  • Superior Customer Service
  • Builds and improves customer satisfaction, loyalty, trust, and confidence in MTA
  • Motivates, guides, and provides training on products and procedures to ensure technical accuracy while following MTA guidelines
  • Negotiates adjustments and payment plans
  • Responds and resolves customer concerns
  • Departmental Management
  • Supervises departmental personnel
  • Coordinates work schedules to ensure appropriate level of staffing to serve customers
  • Manages and coordinates departmental activities, such as approving leave, hiring new employees, conducting performance evaluations, promotions, cash receipting, and service order processing
  • Enforces guidelines for discipline
  • Supports team environment
  • Promotes positive attitude
  • Empowers work groups to make independent decisions by encouragement and development of skills
  • Analyzes situations and accurately recommends or implements effective solutions

The Sales & Customer Service Supervisor is also responsible for other duties as assigned. 

 



Required Qualifications:

 

 

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS                                                        

EDUCATION:

Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent subject from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  Professional experience may be substituted on a ratio of two (2) years of professional experience for one (1) year of collegiate education.                                                            

WORK EXPERIENCE:                                                              

Four (4) years of customer service experience.  Three (3) years of supervisory experience.  Retail and sales experience preferred.  Experience must demonstrate the individual’s ability to coordinate well with a variety of professionals working on the marketing and sales support side of telecommunications.
