Facilities Services is looking for an Assistant Systems and Database Manager that is proficient in MS SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle, and programming. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other related field and two years experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
This position requires coursework or production experience in MS SQL Server, MS Access, FoxPro, and database management and programming. Other database types helpful.
This position requires coursework or production experience in Drafting Technology with an emphasis on architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical drafting.
Drafting - Minimum one year experience using CAD in a production environment.
Web Programming/Computer skills: Minimum of one year experience ColdFusion, one year experience HTML web page construction. Minimum of one year experience managing web server and file server accounts and accessibility.
Position Details:
This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/compensation/salary.php, Grade 79, based on education and experience.
