A-1 Snowplowing & Removal is hiring for snow shovelers, Plow truck drivers, CDL Drivers, and Loader operators. PLEASE specify which position applied for.
***SNOW SHOVELERS***
Crews will shovel sidewalks at various locations around Anchorage, transportation from office to each job site provided by company vehicle.
Driver's license preferred but not required; driving positions require a clean driving record with no DUI's or reckless driving offenses in the last 3 years.
Employees will be responsible for own transportation to office and personal snow gear (boots, gloves, etc).
***PLOW TRUCK DRIVERS***
Must have a valid license and clean driving record--no DUI's or reckless driving offenses in the last 3 years.
Shifts are primarily at night; occasional day shifts.
Must have reliable 24 hour on-call phone number for work.
Pay is $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
***CDL DRIVERS***
At least 2 years experience operating full size dump-truck hauling dirt/asphalt products & Water Truck in the summer season and snow during winter season . Must have a current health card, class A CDL for side dump positions & class B CDL for end dump positions with clean driving record (no DUI's or reckless driving in the last 3 years) & be able to pass drug screening. Full time position available for summer months; on-call during winter season.
***LOADER OPERATORS***
Must have knowledge of running a front-end loader with bucket & push blade experience. On-call work with primary shifts available during the night hours with occasional day shifts.
Must have reliable 24 hour phone.
Pay is $18 to $25 per hour
