The University of Alaska Fairbanks Community & Technical College (UAF CTC) is seeking a Student Services Coordinator to join our Student Services and Registration Center team. This position supports students, staff, and faculty through admissions, registration, and front-line customer service. We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, and ready to lead in a fast-paced environment.
The Student Services Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for student personnel services and registration processes across CTC programs. This role provides daily guidance to staff, handles escalated student issues, and ensures smooth office operations. Responsibilities include verifying academic records, managing testing services, and assisting students with financial aid, scheduling, and enrollment. Banner experience is preferred.
This is a full-time, staff position based in Fairbanks with a regular schedule. The successful candidate will possess strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and the ability to effectively manage complex situations. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and two years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Position Details:
This position is located on the UAF Community and Technical College campus in Fairbanks, and work is performed on-site. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
