Position Summary:
The Construction Manager reports directly to the Program Manager and indirectly to an Alyeska Lead. This position for Construction Manager (CM) acts as the Program Manager’s (PM) field representative and will be responsible for multiple pipeline projects and programs from PS 05 to PS 12 and Right Of Way (ROW) locations south of PS12.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- The CM will provide day to day oversight of contractors, vendors, and other groups involved in implantation to ensure all phases and actives meet regulatory, safety, quality, cost, schedule, and operational requirements.
- Identifies technical issues and works with the APSC Technical Lead to revolves them, while keeping the PM informed.
- This position also requires the development of both temporary and permanent procedures, as well as other documentation including System Requirement Specifications, Management of Change (MOC) documentation, designs, specifications, execution plans, safety plans, and procedures.
- The CM participates in technical reviews and recommends changes to systems in review of issued for review/construction (engineering) packages, and other documents that may be required for project execution.
- The CM participates in the development and review of TIC estimates, and facilities constructability reviews, risk assessments, and lessons learned.
- Assists the Alyeska PM with project deliverables in all stages.
- Supports gathering quotes for materials and services, coordinating SPO/PO’s, tracking expenses in conjunction with cost engineer, receiving equipment or services, and disposing of decommissioned equipment following Alyeska possess.
- Facilitate project meeting (such as constructability reviews, procedure reviews, SOC, PHA, kick-off meetings, status meetings, and specialty deployment meetings, etc.)
- Monitors and communicates implementation process to the PMT and Project Controls, including schedule variance assessments, forecast changes, status of project deliverables, and remedial action planning.
- Supports field logistics when required.
- Assist in identifying and recommending work management process improvements.
Other Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Training & Professional Certificates/Associations):
Mandatory
- Six (6) years’ experience supporting or managing multi-disciple projects
- Four (4) years’ experience with windows system, client/server applications, technology hardware (networking, data storage, servers, cyber security), Microsoft Office 2016 or higher, Microsoft Project & Visio.
- Two (2) years’ experience with creating/managing/redlining engineering and technical drawings project.

- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Successfully pass a preemployment background check, drug screening, and fit for duty.
Preferred
- Previous TAPS experience
- Knowledge of APSC work management and control processes
- Experience in pipeline shutdowns or plant turnarounds is preferred.
- Civil Digs and Belowground Investigations, MR-48, FG-78 qualified.
