Talent Acquisition Partner

The Strive Group, on behalf of its client, is recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Partner. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Sociology or related field, with three (3) or more years’ recruiting experience, preferably in a healthcare environment, are required to be considered for the position. Relevant professional experience may be substituted for degree/education on a year-for-year basis.  

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for a variety of duties; the list below highlights what the client considers most valuable to the organization:

• Sourcing candidates for the organization. Southeast Alaska consists of a variety of magical but remote communities, each having its own personality and challenges. Finding candidates who can commit and enjoy living in these communities is not easy so it takes a creative, positive and energetic approach.
• Managing direct hire applicant pools as well as temporary, contracted candidates/agencies. The TA Partner will have “cradle to grave” responsibility, keeping track of all job requisitions, applicants and potential contracted candidates throughout the process.
• Screening applicants. This means quickly identifying qualified applicants or contracted candidates, identifying if any individuals can be considered elsewhere, and notifying all individuals/agencies accordingly.
• Facilitating interviews or the logistics therein to ensure timely consideration and decision making occurs.
• Working closely with hiring manager and/or contracting staff, negotiate wages and/or terms of temporary contract for selected individuals.

This is not an easy position because of a variety of both internal and external factors. That being said, it is a great position for a qualified recruiter who wants to make a significant difference in a wide variety of communities. Candidates need to be patient, self-determined, resourceful, well organized, reliable, able to communicate well and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
