JOB POSTING: Core Technician/ Core Cutter
LOCATION: Johnson Tract Project, 120 miles SW of Anchorage. Remote fly-in camp.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
• Assist with mineral exploration program operations
• Use a gas-powered core saw to cut and prepare rock drill core samples for shipments
• Move and handle boxes of drill core
• Provide camp support. Carpentry and general Labor
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Ability to lift and carry 35-50 Lbs. repetitively
• Self-Motivated with good attention to detailed procedures and safety protocols
• Experience with power tools and manual labor
MINIMUM AGE: 18
RATE: Depends on experience, please enquire.
HOURS AND TERM Generally, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, early July to mid-October.
