JOB POSTING: Geotechnician
LOCATION: Johnson Tract Project, 120 miles SW of Anchorage. Remote fly-in camp.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
• Assist with mineral exploration program operations
• Move and handle boxes of drill core
• Clean, measure and photograph drill core
• Provide camp and field support
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Ability to lift and carry 35-50 Lbs. repetitively
• Self-Motivated with good attention to detailed procedures and safety protocols
• Experience with manual labor and data entry
• Experience in remote exploration camps and interest in geology or mine engineering
MINIMUM AGE: 18
RATE: Depends on experience, please enquire.
HOURS AND TERM Generally, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, early July to mid-October.
